On June 8th a new Sun Boardwalk Mr PE uberMANn 2019 will be chosen to represent the young men of the Nelson Mandela Metro. This prestigious title, in its eighteenth consecutive year, has increasingly grown in stature since its inception in 2002. The gala event is an undisputable highlight on the social calendar of the Eastern Cape.
A brand new title has been added to the uber stable. Heinz In Style Mademoiselle 2019 will be chosen for the very first time. She will not only be gorgeous, she will be the personification of beauty with a beautiful heart.
The young gentleman chosen to fulfil the role of the Sun Boardwalk Mr PE uberMANn 2019, as would the young woman crowned to be the Heinz In Style Mademoiselle 2019, will not only be dashing and beautiful, but true role models to whom the city’s youth can look up to. They will represent their sponsors and the people of our Metro with great aplomb.
The Sun Boardwalk Mr PE uberMANn campaign has a proud record of active involvement in social investment programs in Port Elizabeth and environs. From this year onwards, Heinz In Style Mademoiselle will join him to make a difference and to leave a footprint in the community at large.
The aim of these titles is to embrace responsibility and encourage a positive impact through community activities. It is not a modelling competition and both titles carry the full weight and responsibility of the qualifying criteria set out to enter the competition, as well as the expectations of all the sponsors involved.
The 2019 titleholders will support two charitable organizations. They will be responsible to garner pro-active community involvement and corporate social responsibility support for these chosen charities.
The competition culminates in a spectacular gala evening at the Boardwalk Hotel ICC on June 8th. Local celebrity and radio DJ, Roland Gaspar, is the MC for the event and TwoTone Music will be responsible for the entertainment.
Tickets will be available from the Finalists or at Heinz in Style, 45 Third Avenue, Newton Park, at a donation of R150.
